Important Aspects

MCSK as an educational institution requires three very fundamental elements for the smooth functioning. They are Guardians, Students and Faculty Members. For achieving the aim and objective of MCSK, the combined effort of the aforesaid elements is a must. Besides Academic Curriculum, MCSK assures students in building their character traits as a perfect human being. In discharging the sacred responsibilities the whole hearted support and valuable opinion are always praiseworthy. Here all the students are provided with equal facilities in the same learning environment. Capitalizing this opportunity sincerely a student can surely achieve the coveted goal. So, the responsibility of preparing the students definitely remains with the institution but guardians will have to share this responsibility too which are given below.

1. As per the instruction except the mentioned clothing items, students are not allowed to bring any other cloths. Parents are requested to ensure that.

2. Students can call their parents for five minutes over mobile phones fortnightly.

3. After every Term End Exam a Report Card is prepared and sent to the parents to observe the standard of his / her ward. It is required to be signed and returned.

4. MCSK provides healthy balanced diet. Moreover, from MCSK Cafeteria, once in a week students can take their favorite food. So, any extra food is not allowed to be given to the students by parents. Again a student is allowed not to exceed more than Tk – 1,000 (One Thousand Only) in Cafeteria for the purpose of food expenditure.

5. 24/7 hr MI Room (medical) facility is provided to the students. In case of emergency, by the consultation of Specialist, students are usually admitted in CMH or nearby Hospitals. If parents want to ensure treatment of their ward outside only for surgery case, they should plan during vacation, not while the Academic Curriculum is on. Exceptional cases can be considered if it is an extreme case of emergency.

6. Leave is a privilege, not a right as per the constitution of MCSK. Parents are requested not to apply for any extra leave while the Academic Hour is on. It hampers the Academic performance of that particular student. Only in case of Father’s, mother’s, sister’s or brother’s death it can be considered. Students are not allowed to go on leave for attending various social programs e.g. marriage ceremony, meeting relatives coming from abroad, meeting the doctor for treatment etc.

7. Reporting time to MCSK after vacation to be strictly adhered for overstaying after any vacation or short leave is not at all expected or accepted unless one is hospitalized. Tk – 1,000 (One Thousand Only) will be charged as late joining fee and in addition Taka 300/- will be fined for each day in this regard.

8. Monthly tuition fee has to be paid by 25th of every month. If 25th is a government holiday, on the next working day the tuition fees will be collected. Taka 500/- will be fined for every month’s delay. Except Parents’ Day, tuition fees can be paid on every Sunday and Wednesday from 0900 to 1400 hours. On Parents’ Day tuition fees are collected up to 1500 hours within the MCSK premises. In any case, if Sunday or Wednesday is a government holiday, Tuition fee to be paid on next working day. Dues can be paid through Demand Draft in Janata Bank, Khulna Cantonment Branch. Dues can also be paid online in Standard Chartered Bank. In case of online and Demand Draft, mentioning student number in the deposit slip is must. However, Demand Draft is always preferred than Cash.

9. Parents are requested to clear off all dues before any vacation.

10. Parents are requested to look for anomalies in the tuition fees and canteen bills of the students and inform the authority regarding any observation.

11. According to the decisions taken during the 9th Managing Committee Meeting of MCSK held on 07 March 2006, if any student intends to take the transfer certificate (TC), will have to pay Taka 10,000/- (Ten thousand) as compensation for each year he studied in MCSK.
