Admission

 

1.       Induction System Induction system is spelt out in the succeeding paragraphs:

a.       The students will be inducted to class VI every year.
b.       In each class the capacity is 64 divided into two sections. (Sixty)

2.       Eligibility

Followings conditions are to be met to be eligible for admission:

a.       Students who are promoted to class VI at the beginning of the year. However, the candidate must have passed class V at the time of admission to MCSK.
b.       Age should be maximum 13 years on 1st January of the year of admission.
c.       Minimum height of the candidate is 4 ft 8 inches and maximum accepted limit is 5 ft. All candidates have to undergo a thorough medical check up, where one must qualify.

3.       Submission of Application

Following procedure will be adopted for submission of application

a.       Last date of submission of application will be published in the National Dailies. Late submission will be considered as unqualified for written test.
b.       Entries in the application form must be correct. False information by the candidate, noticed at any stage of his stay at the school / college, will render him liable to disciplinary action including withdrawal, if necessary.
c.       The application form, duly filled in, should be sent (either by hand or mail) to the following address:

d.       Application form must be accepted by three self-addressed envelopes duly stamped (one for written test, one for viva-voce and one for medical test).

4.       Selection Procedures

The selection will be based on the performance of the candidates, as per merit, in the following tests:

a.       Written test of total 100 marks will be held. Subjects are English (25), Bengali (25), Mathematics (25), General knowledge and IQ (25). All questions will be set from the National Curriculum Text Board Book (NCTB) of Class V.
b.       Qualifying marks will be 60 out of total 100.
c.       Viva-voce of 50 marks.
d.       Medical check up in the MCSK Campus.
e.       Candidates have to appear at the examinations in English except the subjects Bangla and Mathematics.

5.      Written Test: Written test will be held on the circulated date in MCSK Campus.

6.      Viva-voce: Selected candidates qualified in written test will be called for viva-voce, which will again be published in the national dailies.

7.     Medical Test: Candidates found qualified both in written test and viva-voce will be called for medical test.

8.     Final Selection: Candidates found medically fit and qualified both in written test and viva-voce shall be considered as finally selected for admission to class VI at MCSK. Joining instructions will be sent to the finally selected candidates by post.
